We have had a great couple of weeks of planting. We finished planting corn yesterday, except for the seed corn. Remington Hybrids will tell us when to plant that. We are doing well on the beans… about 2/3 done or so. Our biggest challenge has been wind. We don’t spray herbicides when the wind blows very hard, so we are a little behind on that. Our guys have sprayed quite a bit at night while the winds are calmer. Last week was possibly our biggest week of the year in terms of labor hours. We are all a little tired! It would sure be great to get a rain now… farmers always want something!
