Another Monday, another rainy week.  We did get to work limitedly on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  We are just 17% done planting overall (19% on corn).  We keep doing any maintenance we can think of to keep the machinery in ready mode.  Today, the guys are working on making some improvements to our anhydrous ammonia applicator which we will use to side dress some of our corn.  Brian Smith and Jon Shultz have been making repairs to drainage tile.  The mulch business has been fairly busy, but it would sure pick up if we would get some dry weather.  We do have some corn up!  It is always nice to see those green plants poking through.  The other exciting thing for us this spring is that our shop is getting an overhaul and expansion.  It is going great and we are looking forward to having more space to work.
