Happy Friday!
It has been another good week here at the farm. Lots of good stuff. We are thankful that it has been a mild week but that means we haven’t been able to spread much fertilizer of compost. The shop has been busy, the office has been busy and we’ve hauled a lot of corn and soybeans. Speaking of the shop, we are thinking about updating and expanding our shop this year, so we took a little “tour” yesterday to see some shops that have been built or remodeled in the past few years. Special thanks to the Summers Farm, the Neal Farm, and the Tebbe Farm. We saw a bunch of really good ideas. Dad did a nice job of planning when he built the shop in 1978, but there has just been a lot of change since then.
Brian should be back today from his trip to Cambodia and Thailand. The reports that we have heard so far have been good, but we are anxious to here some first-hand reports. God always puts good things together. Check out the Agristewards website or Facebook page if you want to learn more.
As I said, we hauled a lot of grain this week and I’ve posted a picture of Jeff Jones loading to go to Tate & Lyle in Lafayette. Jeff does a great job. We always tell him that he’s our number one money maker!
Have a great week!
